Can a american citizen open a business in canada? and how?

i want to open a daycare and i want to know if i can do it here in canada

yes you can but you need to check with Canadien officials, regulations rules fees insurance etc...Plus I think you will need to health and safter certification as well. Your best bet is to find out the providence where you want to start your business and then writing to that providence capital for what to do and so on. Good Luck.
